     The best way to get to Cozumel is to fly directly to the Cozumel airport. Another option is to fly into Cancun, then to take the ferry or short commuter flight to the island.

Fishing Season: Bonefish and permit have a year-round season. Sailfish, marlin and dorado show up mid-February through August, and other offshore species such as, barracuda and are present year-round. Kingfish and Wahoo are prevalent in December.
