Accommodations at Playa Sonrisa

 
The Playa Sonrisa Hotel is located just north of Xcalak on a secluded beach. Your hosts are "Murph" and Cindy Murphy, originally from Colorado and enjoying the more casual way of life in Mexico. They are very attentive to the needs of their guests, and will do everything possible to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one.

   The Playa Sonrisa has nice, ocean view cabanas, daily maid service, a beachside restaurant/bar where all meals (except lunches on the boat) are served. Each cabana has a private bathroom/shower with hot and cold water. Anglers and non-anglers enjoy the beauty and seclusion of Xcalak.

     Non-fishing activities that you may enjoy during your stay are snorkeling, diving, sea kayaking and visits to local sites and Mayan ruins.
