Swim with the manta rays and dolphins in Christmas Island's unique lagoon
ecology. To some, the island is referred to as a "diving paradise"
due mostly to the vast numbers of colorful fish and amazing variety of
coral. You can see everything from lobster to sea turtles to manta rays.

Dive Kiribati is owned and operated by Naui instructor Kim Anderson, and
provides all of the scuba diving services on Christmas Island. The 35-foot
catamarans are custom-fitted for diving and snorkeling comfort. Their
modifications provide much easier water entries and exits than conventional
boats. On-site are two high-volume air compressors, 100 80-cubic-foot
aluminum tanks, a double-lock recompression chamber, masks, fins, etc.
Prior to the opening of Dive Kiribati in 1992, Kim lived in the Caribbean
where he managed several dive operations.
The boats can accommodate up to eight passengers for diving. Kim can provide
full equipment rental as well if you find it easier to rent than bring
it with you.
Dives are based on tanks used, and most
you will find are three tank dives. You are certainly welcome to fish
or snorkel with the Mini Hotel crew on the first and last days of your
tr
ip, or combine a more comprehensive diving and fishing trip.
Christmas Island Outfitters can help you arrange an exciting dive trip.
