     The fly fishing in Belize is good year-round, but use the chart if you have your heart set on a certain species. Keep in mind the weather can be challenging in September because of the possibility of hurricanes. It tends to be more windy in the winter months, then gradually calms through spring. It picks up again in the fall. There is almost always some wind but with so many flats you can always find some areas that are protected from the wind. A permit/tarpon/bonefish grand slam is possible throughout the year with your best chance being when permit and tarpon are both most prevalent.
