Sample menu from our multi-day wilderness fishing expeditions.

Day 1

  • Breakfast: in town
  • Lunch: appetizer: local hard salami and local cheese with homemade bread
    Ham and cheese tart, fresh cherries
    Pasta salad with peas, carrots, tomatoes, olive oil, light spices and lemon.
    Dessert: fruit filled chocolate cookie pastries
  • Dinner: Full barbeque (traditional Argentine asado) choice cuts of beef, pork and beef sausage, blood sausages, sweet breads and chicken all served with chimichurri sauce. Spiced red skinned potatoes and a green salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, basil, olive oil and vinegar or lemon.
  • Desert: Fruit salad with freshly whipped cream or yogurt

Day 2

  • B reakfast: Vanilla or strawberry yogurt and milk with granola cereal and fresh fruit. Toast with homemade local jams and preserves, cheese and butter. Dulce de leche or sweet milk will also be available.
  • Lunch: appetizer: Guacamole with homemade bread and crackers
    Best-ever egg salad sandwiches
    Roasted green bean, red onion, and beet salad
    Dessert: sandwich cookies with raspberry or dulce de leche filling, fruit
  • Dinner: appetizer: smoked salmon and basil rolls with crème fraiche
    Traditional Argentine chicken dish with white wine rosemary and thyme (Fabulous!)
    Salad with beets, carrots and hard-boiled eggs
    Dessert: Membrillo, (sweet quince cake) with robust cheese (a European favorite)

Day 3

  • Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with choice of smoked trout and green onions or sausage, sun-d ried tomato and mozzarella. Toast, fruit and cereals
  • Lunch: appetizer: local cheese with grapes and crackers
    Veal or chicken Milanesas (scaloppini) with potato salad and a side of green salad with avocados and fresh vegetables.
    Dessert: fruit and brownies
  • Dinner: appetizer: Mozzarella tomato and basil on thinly slice bread and crackers.
    Fucilli pasta with choice of primavera, mixed-herb and vegetable or olive oil, garlic and parmesan sauce.
    Dessert: fresh raspberries with cream or vanilla yogurt.

Day 4

  • Breakfast: fresh melon with proscuitto, vanilla yogurt, granola cereal and fresh mangos. Toast with homemade local jams and preserves, cheeses and butter.
  • Lunch: appetizer: hard salami and a variety of locally smoked cheese and meats such as trout, salmon, wild boar and deer.
    Tuna salad
    Dessert: fresh fruit, apple pastry

Beverages include fine red and white Argentine wines, cold beer, soft drinks, bottled water, coffee, herbal teas, a variety of fruit juices, milk and yogurt. Maté is always available for those who wish to try it!
