     We are offering Amazon Exotics on the Fly, a fantastic adventure to the Brazilian Amazon to fish for Peacock Bass and other Amazon Exotics. The riverside location of the lodge in the Amazon rainforest not only makes it a great fishing adventure, but also an interesting look at the ecology of the rainforest.
     The Brazilian Amazon is a vast ecological structure which gives refuge to many species of animals, birds, reptiles, and, of course, fish. The Amazon basin is known for its incredible peacock bass fishing, and you can add to that at least a dozen other species which you may catch such as Pacu, Matrinxa, Piranha, Catfish, Payara, etc. When you cast into the river, you never know what you might hook, or how big it might be for that matter!
     Your trip will be based out of a lodge located on the São Benedito River, a drainage of the Amazon River. It is located south of the equator in the state of Para in Brazil. In addition to being in the heart of the rainforest, the lodge is a well-run operation that has gained a reputation of being one of the top lodges in Brazil due to its catch and release philosophy.
